Factory Repair Tester
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Summary:
The Factory Repair Tester will be responsible for:
- Testing majority of company products based upon customer demands per the shipping schedule, using test stations and various diagnostics.
- Loading and unloading the burn-in cabinet, tracking boards through the burn-in process.
- Recording yield data and pass/fail description for each assembly.
- Providing feedback to the Test Supervisor on any problems or trends observed during the test process.
- Assembling boards and units using simple hand tools.
- Program disks and proms as needed.
- Receiving customer Factory Repair RMA products
- Routing to Final Q.C. inspection and Stage customer Factory Repair RMA products.
- Performing upgrade of customer Factory Repair RMA products
- Performing cycle counts of materials by direction.
- Updating RMA database and Serial Number Tracking database with Factory Repair actions.
- Restocking returned products or disposition by direction as required.
Required Skills and Work Experience:
- One year experience in test environment.
- Knowledge of computers, commercial test equipment and uses extremely helpful.
- Above average verbal and math skills.
- Problem solving aptitude a plus.
- Team interaction with co-workers is expected.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
