John M. Slusser, a founder of the Company, has served as President and CEO since January 2007, after serving as interim President and CEO since October 2006, Chairman of the Board of Directors since June 2001, as a director since our formation in 1981 and as Chief Strategic Officer from January 2003 to May 2005. From 1981 through 1995, he held various positions within the Company, including President and Chief Executive Officer. From 1995 until 2000, he served as Chairman of the Board of InformationView Solutions Corporation and from 1995 to 1999 he served as that company’s Chief Executive Officer. Since 2000, he has served as President of Radio Daze LLC, a vintage electronics company. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Slusser held various positions at Computer Consoles, Inc. (now a division of Nortel Networks). Mr. Slusser holds a BSEE degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Dorrance W. Lamb has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since November 2005, and served as Chief Financial Officer of the Company since April 1995. From August 1992 to October 2005 he held the position of Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the Company, he was Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration at Infodata Systems, Inc. based in Fairfax , Virginia . Mr. Lamb is a certified public accountant and holds a BS in accounting from Benjamin Franklin University .
John J. Grana has served as Senior Vice President and
General Manager of the Embedded Systems Group since January, 2007. From 2005 to 2007 he served as Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering, and served as Vice President of Software Engineering from 2000 to 2005. From 1997 to 2000, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Controller Products Group, and from 1994 to 1997 he held the position of Vice President
of Software Engineering. From 1990 to 1994 he held the position of Technical Director of the Workstations Products business unit, and from 1986 to 1990 he served as Senior
Software Engineer. Prior to joining the company, he held various positions with Computer Consoles (acquired
by Nortel Networks). Mr. Grana holds a BS in engineering from the Rochester Institute
of Technology.
John J. Peters has served as Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering since 2005, having served as Vice President of Hardware Engineering from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President of Development, Network Switching Products. From 1994 to 1997 he held the position of Vice President of Hardware Engineering. From 1990 to 1994 he served as Technical Director of the Hardware Products business unit and from 1986 to 1990 he held various engineering positions. Prior to joining Performance Technologies, Mr. Peters held various engineering positions with Computer Consoles (acquired by Nortel Networks). Mr. Peters has a BS in engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
William E. Mahuson has served as Senior Corporate Vice President since 2005. Since joining Performance Technologies in 1987 he has served in various capacities including Vice President of Engineering, President of the Company's UconX communications software subsidiary, and general manager of the InformationView software division. Since 1992, Mr. Mahuson has held the title of Corporate Vice President. Prior to joining the Company, he held various technical and technical management positions with Computer Consoles, Inc. (acquired by Nortel Networks) and the Xerox Corporation. Mr. Mahuson holds a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Edward J. Bizari serves as Vice President of Marketing and Worldwide Sales. Since joining Performance Technologies in 1997, he has held various positions including Director of Marketing and Business Planning. Mr. Bizari has over 20 years experience in the electronics and communications industry with companies developing innovative hardware, software and system-level products. Prior to joining Performance Technologies, he held positions as Product Manager and Lead Engineer at Harris Corporation, and Director of Business Development at Networx Corporation. Mr. Bizari holds a BSEE and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
J. Patrick "Patt" Rice serves as Vice President and General Manager of the Signaling Systems Group. He has more than 25 years of sales, service and marketing experience in the global telecommunications industry, including key senior level positions with Tekelec and Nortel. As senior vice president of sales for Tekelec, he provided sales leadership to the team's signaling and switching organizations, achieving record sales growth and significantly increasing the company's presence worldwide, with specific emphasis on Latin America, North America and Rest of World Markets. In his role with Performance Technologies, Mr. Rice oversees the company's industry-leading SEGway™ signaling product portfolio, leveraging his experience and knowledge to continue to bring Performance Technologies customers the quality signaling products they've come to expect.
