NexusWare® Linux® Software Suite
NexusWare® is a family of Linux® software products that enable users of Performance Technologies' broad range of COTS embedded hardware solutions to rapidly develop and deploy value-added capabilities with their solutions.
Providing a full Linux OS and development environment, the NexusWare family also provides optional installable packages to further enhance and easy your development cycles.
This powerful combination of software and hardware enables system engineers, architects and designers in the telecommunications, aerospace and defense, and commercial markets to create applications and bring to market solutions such as media gateways, managed WAN gateways, voice over IP (VoIP), lawful intercept, radar servers, signaling gateways, and wireless base station controllers.
NexusWare Core
NexusWare Core provides a common development platform and tool set that spans a broad range of hardware while raising the level at which system integration is performed. The Ethernet capabilities of Performance Technologies' hardware products, coupled with the strong Linux OS foundation of NexusWare Core, offer a simple and rapid path to IP-based PICMG® 2.16 systems, while giving developers a simplified way to design-in current PCI-based systems.
NexusWare Core features an integrated suite of carrier-grade device drivers for full access to onboard resources (H.110, Ethernet, PCI, T1/E1/J1, T3, CAS) as well as a powerful NexusWare Core API. In addition to a range of I/O and storage products supported by NexusWare Core Performance Technologies also offers PowerPC® and X.86 based Single Board Computers that are fully supported under NexusWare Core, providing system integrators with a single look and feel across the entire system.
For designers utilizing Performance Technologies' MicroTCA™ solutions, NexusWare features a robust, web-based management tool called NexusWare Portal that is used to remotely manage, monitor, and maintain the configuration of each AdvancedMC™ module used in the MicroTCA system.
NexusWare WAN
NexusWare WAN is an installable software package that provides developers the ability to add a range of protocol packages to NexusWare Core, allowing for the creation of powerful and flexible sub-systems that address multiple applications. With a wide range of WAN protocols, powerful integrated development environment and our high performance CompactPCI® T1/E1/J1 controllers, we provide a complete WAN development solution for OEMs.
NexusWare C7
NexusWare C7 is an SS7 MTP-2 installable software package designed to work in conjunction with NexusWare Core, our Linux OS, development, integration and management environment. NexusWare C7 provides equipment manufacturers and application developers, using Performance Technologies' embedded packet-based products, with a starting point for building SS7 applications, including next-generation wireless and IP telephony systems.
