PT's MicroTCA-based platforms, MicroTCA Carrier Hubs (MCH), wide assortment of AdvancedMC Modules, and value-added software are comprehensive, tightly integrated and configurable. This product family allows designers to develop a wide range of applications, including 4G wireless, Next-Generation Network (NGN), telecommunications, physics (MTCA.4) and various aerospace, defense and commercial services. These Application-Ready Platforms offer high performance, modularity, flexibility and can scale from low-profile, cost effective 1U systems to 8U systems for high density, high-speed bandwidth and five-nines availablity. As COTS-based systems, they facilitate a faster time to market and minimize development costs and development cycles.

  • Monterey MicroTCA Application-Ready Platforms bridge the gap between Advanced TCA and MicroTCA. The Monterey 8000 Platform is an 8U MTCA.4 platform featuring 12 AMC payload slots, a high-speed 40 GbE-ready backplane, 160W/slot extended power for high-density computing, MCH Management, and 99.999% availability and complete redundancy. MicroTCA.4 includes Rear Transition Modules for each AMC and MCH, improving MicroTCA’s flexibility, serviceability, and availability, and it also includes a more secure architecture for AMC’s mounted in a platform. PT also offers a small 1U footprint platform designed to support 6 AMCs in a tightly integrated platform, including MCH management and redundant power and cooling. This is ideal for carrier-grade LTE EPC gateways and anode base stations focused on Tier 3, public safety, and military deployments, as well as for network access and various other military or commercial applications.

  • Monterey AdvancedMC Blades: PT offers a comprehensive and highly configurable suite of AdvancedMC (AMC) modules: Multi-Core x86 processors, I/O and communications, PowerPC processors, and video and storage. These modules are ideal for developing NGN applications. The blades are tightly integrated with PT’s NexusWare value-added software to facilitate quick development cycles. PT’s technical support team ensures that customers have a competent technical partner to successfully integrate and configure application into PT platforms.
